Accessibility Information

1. General description of the service

Cozy Garden is a web-based application for planning and managing personal tasks. It can be used locally in a browser without an account. With an account, content can be stored and synchronized between devices. Premium subscriptions can be purchased and managed through an external Stripe/Link checkout.

This information is provided voluntarily to describe the accessibility of the service. WELLREAL UG is currently a microenterprise with fewer than ten employees and annual turnover of no more than EUR 2 million. The accessibility obligation under section 3(3) of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) therefore does not currently apply to services provided by WELLREAL UG. Regardless, we work to make Cozy Garden as accessible as possible.

2. How to use Cozy Garden

The application has a task view and an interactive garden view. In the task view, you can create, edit, sort and delete tasks, tags, links and settings. The garden view represents this content visually. It also provides controls for the view, zoom, season, background, screenshot and video export.

You can create an account using your name, email address and password. Registration requires a security check provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. A paid subscription is completed through the checkout page provided by Stripe and Link. The functionality of these external services is also designed by their respective providers.

3. Accessibility measures

When developing Cozy Garden, we take into account the requirement that information and controls should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. The current implementation includes, among other measures:

  • The main forms use labelled input fields; buttons and graphical controls have accessible names.
  • The application uses semantic HTML elements, ARIA labels, dialog roles and status messages for loading, saving and error states.
  • Interactive controls can receive keyboard focus, and visible focus indicators support orientation.
  • The task view, settings and main account functions use standard controls. The layout adapts to desktop and mobile devices.
  • The garden surface can receive focus. When an object is selected, an off-screen text description exposes its current tooltip; the toolbar uses labelled buttons.
  • Content and controls are currently available in English.

We run automated tests for selected interaction and labelling flows when making changes. This version has not yet undergone a complete independent audit against EN 301 549 or WCAG 2.1 AA.

4. Known barriers and planned improvements

Despite these measures, the following limitations currently exist:

  • The interactive 3D garden is highly visual and animated. Selecting and exploring individual plants, stars and link objects is not yet equally possible in full with a keyboard or screen reader.
  • There is currently no dedicated setting to reduce or disable animations.
  • A complete review of contrast, text enlargement, keyboard operation, focus management in every dialog and use with screen readers is still pending.
  • Drag-and-drop functions, in particular for sorting tags or entries, are not implemented equally for every input method.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile during registration and the external Stripe/Link checkout are partly outside our technical control. If these services are not accessible to you, please contact us; we will consider appropriate support or an alternative route.
  • This information is not currently available in Easy Read or German Sign Language.

We are working to remove these barriers progressively. Priorities are an equivalent text-based, keyboard- and screen-reader-accessible alternative to garden interaction, support for reduced motion, an expert review of contrast and zoom, and testing the complete purchase and account flows.
